2. Purpose of the Platform

Appeal Bookings is a service that allows users to:

• Fundraisers – Book time slots to collect for charitable causes.

• Shuls (Synagogues) – Manage availability, scheduling, and track authorized bookings.

3. User Eligibility

Users must be at least 18 years old to create a fundraiser or manage a shul account. All submitted information must be accurate and current.

4. Booking Policy

• Bookings must be made through the Appeal Bookings platform.

• Each shul may approve, reject, or cancel bookings at its discretion.

• Fundraisers must follow the rules and instructions provided by each shul.

5. Payment Terms

• All applicable fees (slot charges, platform fees, etc.) must be paid at the time of booking.

• Some shuls may allow cash payments directly to the shamash — if so, this must be clearly marked.

6. Cancellation & Refund Policy

• Cancellations and refunds follow the specific cancellation policy of each shul.

• Eligibility for refunds is based on the cancellation window set by the shul.

• Late cancellations (after the defined window) will not be refunded.

• The cancellation deadline (e.g., 7 days, 3 days) is shown during the booking process.

• Platform or processing fees may be non-refundable.

7. Shul Responsibilities

• Maintain an accurate calendar of availability.

• Block out unavailable dates when needed.

• Honor approved bookings unless a valid cancellation reason arises.

8. Platform Responsibilities

• Provide a secure, user-friendly platform for managing bookings and communication.

• Appeal Bookings is not responsible for fundraising outcomes, in-person conduct, or offline disputes unless involving platform misuse.

9. Code of Conduct

All users must:

• Keep commitments

• Avoid misrepresentation

• Refrain from abusive, offensive, or discriminatory behavior

10. Privacy Policy

Your data is securely stored and only shared as needed to provide platform services or meet legal obligations.

11. Termination of Access

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or misuse the platform.

12. Changes to Terms

Terms and Conditions may be updated at any time. Continued platform use indicates acceptance of changes.
